Aurora Biomed invites you to attend the 9th Annual Ion Channel
Retreat. Nine years ago Aurora Biomed Inc (Vancouver, BC) committed
to gathering the brightest minds and the most innovative research
companies at one conference. The Ion Channel Retreat provides a
podium for scientific discourse spanning a wide range of ion channel
disciplines. This conference has consistently provided an
environment for researchers and industry leaders to exchange ideas,
discuss future collaborations and consider future research
proposals.
Researchers from both academia and industry come together each
year to share their knowledge. With attendees from 17 different
countries at the 2010 Ion Channel Retreat, this conference continues
to grow, and is testament to the importance of ion channel

Meeting Format: The 2011 Ion Channel Retreat is a
3-day meeting. Program sessions cover several diverse areas of ion channel
research. Speaking presentations begin on Monday June 27th and end
mid-afternoon on Wednesday, June 29th. Poster presentations will be
available for viewing during all session breaks.

Call for Papers
Please contact the submissions board directly at retreat@aurorabiomed.com for
further information regarding speaking opportunities. Upon submission,
authors give Aurora Biomed the right to publish abstracts in any format
before, during, and after the meeting.
Abstracts should be between 100 and 300 words and must be submitted in
an editable format (such as .doc or .txt). Please state which program
session(s) you feel your presentation is applicable to.
